Dubai International Academy opened on 10 September 2005 with more than 500 students from 55 countries and a diverse faculty of over 50 members representing 18 nationalities.
It was the first school in the UAE to offer a rigorous transdisciplinary curriculum and rich language programme based on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. Its purpose is to build lifelong learners for the global knowledge economy through quality international education, academic excellence and all-round development.
